Ukraine blames Russia for German hack

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk not hold back when asked about the recent hack attack

Prime Minister of Ukraine made the Russian intelligence responsible for a hack attack against the German government websites.

A pro-Russian group claimed responsibility, but this is the first proposal that supported by the Russian government.

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk made the remarks during a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

But one expert questioned what real evidence, it was for the claims.

CyberBerkut

The attack sites for Ms. Merkel and the German Bundestag targeted. Both sites were inaccessible from Wednesday, 10:00 clock until evening.

A group that says CyberBerkut behind her. Referring now dissolved Berkut of elite police force to beat Ukraine, torture and protesters were charged with shooting.

Before meeting with Merkel Mr. Yatsenyuk asked on German television reporter if the pro-Russian hackers Ukraine were responsible.

"I recommend that the secret pocket money service stop the Russian taxpayer for cyber attacks against the Bundestag and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the office," he said.

  Reasonable doubt?

Tit-for-tat accusations of cyber attacks are becoming more common, although it is very difficult to locate where an attack originated.

"It is interesting that the countries against each other for the debt of cyber attacks, even if the information they put the public often does not justify their claims," said security expert Prof Alan Woodward in BBC.

He said he would have thought the government would certainly "beyond reasonable doubt" before these serious allegations.

"The international community seems very quickly to each other on a balance of probabilities, that does not seem enough to blame me," he said.

This week, the FBI added more accustomed to his theory that North Korea behind the Sony Pictures hack in November, reiterating that the IP addresses have been linked to the attack by the mysterious nation.

Prof Woodward asked FBI claims.

"None of these addresses were actually in North Korea. They were in Singapore, Taiwan and all over the place. "

He thinks that cybercrime is becoming more a part of the political agenda.

"It is interesting to note that all the rhetoric seems to countries that have existing tensions come. They are special cyber-attacks for political points."

German intelligence officials said they meet around 3,000 cyber attacks every day. About five of them are foreign intelligence, the chief of the German secret service, said recently.
